Vittorio Giorgini was an interesting and extraordinary character, forgotten by official culture. His work was definitely worthy of renewed interpretation and reflection.
Casa Esagono is an architectural work made from wood in hexagonal modules, suspended between the trees, built in Baratti in 1957 by Vittorio Giorgini (1926-2010). The summer residence of the Florentine architect until 1969, the home became a meeting place for artist friends and intellectuals. In addition, Casa Saldarini, better known as Casa Balena, is open every day to the public with guided tours, events and screenings.
